Synopsis: "Let Them Eat Cake", dives into the life of a young Marie Antoinette, through virtuosic and dynamic acrobatics, contortion, as well as comedy and magic. Ela Bartilomo, who has performed nationally and internationally with Casus and Circa, joins Arc Circus in this fabulous solo work, transforming herself into the last Queen of France, exploring her young life of excess and frivolity. The work is incredibly physical, full of acrobatics, comedy, fabulous costuming and, of course, cake. Arc Circus’s vision for all its works is to tell important stories through circus, dance and theatre, and "Let Them Eat Cake" is no exception.
